How not to scare men away on the first date?

Okay, so MeetNLunch has done the relatively easy bit of finding you a perfect date, but how do you do the hard bit in making sure you secure him once you have a chance to go on the date?
A really good looking female client of mine went on the date recently. She is not just good looking, she is actually drop dead gorgeous, but the male client came back a little unimpressed.
“….She did talk a lot about her work and i had to stop
her from going into details about each of the product
she is marketing for. Still, she somehow managed to
explain to me in English mix with Thai about the
products as if she thinks that i would be interested
to learn about computers on a dinner date. Aside from
trying to explain the product features, she also went
on into quite a detail about most of her previous
relationships and she seemed so proud to present to me
all the fancy job titles and upscale multinational
company that each and every single one of her previous
boyfriend used to hold or now holding. She did put a
lot of emphasis as though she wants to make sure that
i understand that the number one quality she looks for
in men is “highly accomplishment”. So i just smile
most of the time as she told the story….”
Dating Guidelines:
1) Don’t talk into too much detail about your work, only say something that is really interesting, and look out for signal that your audience may not be interested to hear about how the knot fell off the computer today.
2) Pick one language, and stick with it. Don’t try to show off by mixing Thai with English.
3) Avoid talking about your ex-partners, if the subjects were brought up, don’t dwell on it for too long, and definitely do not brag about how great your ex were.
