Companionship at 70
70 is a magic number.
It’s an age of the oldest member we got in the database. His daughter-in-law signed him up to our matchmaking service after his late-wife passed away couple of years ago. It always give me a warm fuzzy feeling when I know I have make a different to this man. Companionship becomes increasingly important the older you get. Compared to a 40 or 50s years old person, at 70, you will be lucky to have enough attention from your kids and to have friends still alive and kicking.
Our latest feedback from him was that he is now talking everyday to the lady we set him up with, and they are going to go out to dinner again this week. I think it’s absolutely adorable.
