Love Tarot - Find Your Love From Tarot Cards

Love Tarot by Bubble

Today, I took a deserved Saturday off from work and visited the Bangkok Book Fair. At “4 letter words” booth, I bumped into Bubble, who just had her first book published. So I had my copy autographed and Bubble also give Chris and I a personal reading. It was interesting indeed!

As I always say, exhaust every ways in your quest for love. It is what we believe at MeetNLunch.

“4 letter words” is at booth D-12 in the Plenary Hall.

Why is it good to get married?

Has it ever happened to any of you, that no matter how sure you are of the person you are going to get married, you will have some doubt?

I asked my mother yesterday on the way to picking up my engagement dress, “is it good to get married?”

My mom replied “Of course, it’s good!”

Knowing that my mom had her ups and downs with the marriage, I then asked her innocently, “what’s good about it?”

She looked into my eyes and said “Well, you have someone to get advice from, and someone to take you to the hospital when you are sick.  Like the other day, when I wasn’t feeling very well, your dad took me, and then yesterday he couldn’t sleep and wanted to see the dock, so I took him.  He really like this doctor, she talks well.”

I then asked my fiancee the same question that evening, and he repied, “it’s good to have someone to come home to”.

What kind of shoes should I wear on the date?

“….ไม่ชอบที่สุด คือ รองเท้า โอววววว ลอร่า ยังมีผู้หญิง ใส่รองเท้า สไตลนี้อยู่อีกหรือนี่ โอวววว ม่าบบบ น่ะ  เจ๊ใส่เข้าไปได้อย่างไรนั้น (ลักษณะ พื้นเรียบ คล้ายๆ รองเท้า วัดเส้าหลิน โอววว จอรรจ ใส่ไปด้ายยยยยยยยย)”

Above is a feedback given from a male client who went on the date that was set up by MeetNLunch.  Men don’t just look at your make up, or your dress, they also look at everything on you including your shoes.  My suggestion to a female clients who are about to go on the date is to wear a reasonable high heels. It doesn’t need to be 4 inches, but it needs to at least make your legs look an inch longer.  If you are not used to wearing high heel, then get one, it’s easy, it’s essential, and it’s certainly what you should be seen on the date!

Last weekend

MeetNLunch set up about 15 dates last weekend, and the feedback are coming in already this Monday morning.  Here are what we received so far:

Comment 1:

Did you enjoy the date?

Yes, we talked for almost four hours.  I realized it was late (almost 10pm) when I started to feel tired.  And he bought me an orchid (sold at the flower shop next door) apart from buying one for himself to put in a vase at his apartment.  Nice!”

Comment 2:

Khun Nikki,

Sorry I was away for a few days.  Here is some of my feedback.  I think Nui is very nice and can be very attractive to many women ka.  He is polite, friendly and easy going person.  We can share any general topic conversation which was good and made me comfortable to be with him.  He can speak some Korean which is very impressive.  I also speak some Korean so I knew how good he is in Korean.

He has a good sense of humor and know a lot about my field of work.
I am not sure I can find some chemistry between him and me though.  I think we just okay being friends ka.

Thank you for arranging this date for me ka.  It was good ka…
Yours sincerely,

Meow

Taxi Cupid

I always have some really interesting stories circulating around the Thai taxi drivers.  They are such a unique group of people that brought the bright colour to the Bangkok street. The one I took this morning, came top of the list, on par with the one taxi I took that was crawling in ants. Anyway, this taxi driver refused to take even a baht from me because I scolded him for taking the wrong way and made me stuck in traffic for 10 mins longer than normally.   I didn’t think I told him off that badly, but was just asking why he didn’t go the way I asked him to go.  Maybe my tone was harsher than normally because I had the headache from a deprived in caffeine, but still, he didn’t have to get so upset that he didn’t want to take any fare.

Gosh, so there…he told me about his hard earning life, and that he also has a dignity (talking about blowing this out of proportion) and I could almost hear a tear drop coming out of his eyes.  The conversation lasted for a minute, while the other cars were waiting to drop off the other passengers.  I had to end this, thinking this is way too much of a morning for me already, so I said to him, “I have a hard earning life too, and I understand, I didn’t mean to raise my voice.  Please take my money. Please take my money.  Please.”  He finally gave in, THANK YOU GOD,  and we departed in peace.

Chris also sent me a link this morning of a taxi driver in New York that tried to matchmake people.  Isn’t that cute?
